Thanks. Unimpressive scores for faculty at a top university. No one scores really high (not sure what the ceiling is on the WAIS though). They used the original 1955 US norms, so, if anything, the scores are inflated by the Flynn effect unless the UK was behind the US in Flynn gains.

Is there perhaps some ceiling effect pushing the mean downwards? I think the ceiling on standard WAIS is 145, making it impossible for anyone to get higher than that.

The correlation between Roe's 3 tests (V,S,M) was near zero, so hard to judge how much they measured g. My bet is that the Spatial test was the most accurate, and with a median of 137 (uncorrected for FE) it is not too far from the estimate of the Cambridge study.
Roe's study was on older researchers considered to be "eminent scientists." The Cambridge study included only younger faculty, probably mostly graduate teaching assistants or the like. I would expect the former to score much higher. Even so, it's surprising that, for example, the Cambridge physics department would employ someone with an IQ of 112 and no one above 136.

I have heard about the hashtag (#) icanhazpdf that is used more or less widely in twitter. I have tried to request some papers using my twitter account. It never worked. At that time, when I looked at that link, my tweets never appeared, and other, more recent ones, were apparent :
