[ODP] A Standardization of the Standard Progressive Matrices in Egypt
Well, OK. I've just noticed that the Sudanese study doesn't seem to be available anywhere. We've already approved that one for publication, but in the future any papers of this kind should include a scan of the original study.

I agree Peter. But they did supply the scan for the Sudanese study. It is in my post here. http://openpsych.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=137&pid=2047#pid2047
It is not technically a republishing, nor is it a translation. It is an English-language summary. It serves a scientific purpose IMO.

Could someone contact Richard Lynn to see if he could scan a copy of the original? Since Peter Frost agreed to approve this paper without a scan, I believe that there are three approvals. Could Meng Hu or someone else comment?

I suppose it's the link here ? I have read it once more. I see no problems. I accept that publication.

(Generally, when people say "corrected for Flynn effect" I appreciate when they show the formulas they apply. No one never does this in any published papers at, e.g., Intelligence. It's regrettable but I won't reject the article just because of this. After all, it's straightforward; see Fletcher 2010, page 470.)

There are two approvals (John and MH), and two more (Peter and me) if the authors supply a scan of the original Arabic version.

Dr. Bakhiet sent a scan of the source paper:

Saleh, A. O. (1988) The effect of culture on culture free tests in the light of the standardization of the Standard Progressive Matrices in Egypt.

(Compressed version attached.)

With it, there are four approvals. This paper can be published.

Very good. This was an unnecessarily long delay for a simple paper.

I have updated the text of the submission with a link to the scanned paper. Can the authors verify that this version is fine? (I have emailed Salah).
